1. Reform of plural nouns?
There are two types of noun singular to plural transformations: one is called regular transformation, and the other is called irregular transformation.. There are two types of rule changes, one is ordinary words that adds directly, and the other is words that end with the letter y, usually changed from y to i plus es. Irregular nouns that become plural need to be specifically remembered individually. In English words, if a noun represents one or the same thing, it takes the singular form, such as pen, dog, tree, fact, church, kiss. If two or more of these things are represented, the plural form of the noun is required, such as pens, dogs, trees, facts, churches, and kisses, to form the plural form of the noun. So, what are the rules for converting nouns into plural forms? Most of them add - s or - es after the singular form, with the following 5 situations
1. Generally add s
2. Add es after s, x, sh, ch, pronounced/iz/
3. End with a consonant letter+y, change y to i and then add es, pronounced/iz/
4. When a proper noun ending with y or a vowel letter ending with y becomes plural, add s directly, read/z/5. For nouns ending with o, some add - s, some add - es, some add - s, and some add - s or - es
6. End with f, fe, remove f Fe becomes ves. But there are usually exceptions, and there are some irregular changes in the singular and plural forms of English, such as:
（1） child---children foot---feet tooth---teethmouse---mice man---men woman---women Note: A compound word composed of one word plus man or woman also has plural forms of - men and - women, such as an Englishman and two Englishmen. But German is not a compound word, so the plural form
(2) Single and complex homographs, such as: deer，sheep，fish，Chinese，Japanese ，li，jin，yuan，two li，three mu，four jin Wait. But besides the yuan, jiao, and fen of the Chinese yuan, the US dollar, British pound, franc, and other currencies all have plural forms. For example: a dollar, two dollars; a meter, two meters。
